The Goal:
The primary goal of "The Future You" is to democratize executive-level communication coaching. Designed for students and job-seekers, the platform aims to turn the subjective art of public speaking into objective, actionable data. I wanted to create a safe, private space for users to practice, analyze, and upgrade their "future self" using AI, without the barrier of expensive human coaches or the fear of public judgment.

The Challenge:
The first challenge was architectural: building a "PhD-level" analysis engine on a "Zero-Cost" infrastructure. I avoided expensive cloud APIs, instead orchestrating open-source models (like Whisper and MediaPipe) to run locally without latency. The second, more critical challenge was the logic itself. There is no standard formula for calculating "confidence" or "charisma". I had to design my own scoring algorithms to translate subjective human cues like gesture fluidity and vocal tone into objective, data-driven feedback.

The Result
The Future You is a fully operational "Zero-Cost" MVP that successfully processes videos locally. However, I view this as a living codebase rather than a finished product. While the current version delivers effective baseline feedback, I am actively refactoring the analysis engine—moving from static heuristics (like simple posture ratios) to dynamic "Computational Paralinguistics" (measuring pitch modulation and narrative coherence). This project proves that resource-constrained AI works, and my focus is now on refining the math to match the complexity of human communication.
